Pollyanna is a France-based indie folk singer-songwriter. Her honest songwriting, her heart-warming voice, her band's quirky strings and industrial drums have a unique, edgy charm. Despite a natural flair for minor chords, Pollyanna's cheerful presence, eclectic taste and experiences as an outsider (in Europe, the USA, South America…) open up her musical field to all things pop, rock, folk and folklores. This curiosity led her through an ambitious international touring circuit, along the way sharing the bill with Wilco, Sleater Kinney, Justin Sullivan, Dominique A or the French chanteuse Françoiz Breut. From acoustic strummers in Memphis to shanty choirs in Bremen and riot grrrls in Hamburg, all this moving around gave Pollyanna's sound openness and freedom.
