Brighton alternative rock band GLUM embody the highs and lows of modern technological existence with stomping melodies roused by the torment between triumph and extinction. They stand out for their contemporary evolution of the familiarly heavy, abrasive sounds of 90’s grunge, and 00's Punk and Indie Rock. The group was formed in 2016, around the passing of their frontman’s father and are now bitterly emerging on the rock music landscape with double-edged lyrics and an anti-mainstream philosophy.
Currently recording their debut album 'Thylacine', following their recent Single's 'World Away' & 'Penitent Cheers' (2020) and EP’s 'Compassion Fatigue' (2018) & 'Anhedonia' (2016).
They are staunch advocates for those battling mental illness, addiction & trauma and are heavy critics of both themselves and modern culture, often conflicted between digital and environmental concern.
