C’est l’été au printemps 😎☀️🥟 une version italo summer mix des amours monégasques pour vos chaudes journées
The French pop singer from the band Sans Sebastien, with his warm, deep voice, is back with his first solo EP, "Dans la lune" (out 12/10/23), recorded between Paris and Montreal (with two English arrangers: Michael Wookey and Majiker - producer of Camille's album "le fil").
The new songs are lyrical, dreamlike and intimate. His words are arrows that always aim straight at the heart, sometimes on airy pianos and enveloping strings, sometimes on bewitching electro beats and soaring synths.
A soft, end-of-summer melancholy hangs over this ep, which makes Cyril, with his singular and endearing universe, one of this autumn's French revelations. The lead single, Dans l'été indien, is a magnificent celebration of the cycles of life. It will linger in our heads for a long time to come, and will float in the air when "les feuilles se détachent à leur tour"... A fine promise for his first solo album, due out in February 2024.
