31 years old, DJ and producer, Benjamin Braxton is actually one of the main electronic music icon in France and comes from a varied background.
He started to learn classical music at conservatory playing piano and percussion and later synthe and home studio. Working in Radio, at 15, DJ, musician and singer he started to work in the record business early on at the age of 19, launching his first vinyl release on the French dance label "Bio records" (Madhouse, DJ FLex).
An influential member of the electro underground scene, he collaborated on the creation of the electro French label "Notorious" signing co-production with Gino's, Human Body, Snake plissken or Jaia on the Goodlife label (The Hacker, Oxia), Discordian or Notorious and finally launched his own label "Sound4label" in 2006.
Out on DJ Center Records in 2008, “Catwalk” is the first Benjamin Braxton’s video featuring the powerful voice of Neja and became a success in France, Pologne and Asia (Taiwan, China, Japon Corea).
After this success, In 2009, Benjamin Braxton continued his carrier with a new collaboration on "Now you know", and a third single with “Baby Girl” a pop electro song.
In 2009, benjamin Braxton composed “I’m Free” and launch a new dance electro project called HOLD UP. The first single was immediately a national success in TV & Radio but also in Belgium, Pologn & Russia.
After releasing the follow up “Stop me now”, sound4label released Benjamin Braxton’s first album with Heben Music & Warner Music France in 2010 in collaboration with FUN RADIO. Benjamin Braxton also remixed artisits like Thieery Cham, Muntonheads, Destiny, Tom Snare, Ilan Tenebaun or Alan Master T.
In May 2010, Benjamin released his first album “Hold Up-arty” on Heben Music/Dj Center/Warner Music for the physical french market.
September 2010, Benjamin released “In the air” a new single and video. He also produced O2 «Walking on a dream» an innovant ecological video with an house progressiv touch to sensitive people against pollution.
He mixed in the Philippine, SriLanka Italy and go back to his studio to produce in 2011 MICO C «You leave me alone». The track reached the top TV and charts and stayed 14 weeks on the top 40 Général radio charts. After this success, Benjamin produced «Lonely tonight» the new HOLD UP’s single, actually playlisted on all french Radios and TVs for 5 months !
In 2012, Benjamin is back with a personal track : «Save me» featuring Carmella from London and a video recorded in New-York ! The track is already playlisted on FUN Radio (second french Musical radio).
