It is from the US that Marc Desse, parisian singer-songwriter, appeared on radar with a few singles released on San Diego based label Bleeding Gold Records in the early 2010s. The great melodies of the song "Video Club" won the support of critics and saw the beginning of the collaboration with the drummer David Graw based in Detroit which continues until today . His first album "Nuit noire", released in June 2014 with the label Bordeaux Rock, is a nocturnal and urban journey which has been able to fully digest its influences. Between French texts, electricity and pop immediacy Marc Desse found a language and an imagination that belonged to him, completely contemporary and without concessions. In 2015 he took part in the campaign which illustrates the collection "Paris Sessions" of Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane alongside other French artists and released the dream pop single "Griffith Park". 2018 saw the release of the song "Petite fille, p'tite misère", a cover for Yves Simon's tribute album Génération(s) Eperdue(s). His new album "Marc Desse" produced with the multi-instrumentalist Gaël Etienne came out in 2021. An extended has been released in september 2023 including the single "Tout contre moi".
