Peace, Love, and Lahmajun
"Agop's music makes you want to go elsewhere, to dance, to love..." ELLE magazine”.
"Long hair and light heart, AGOP sings of hope, love and peace in short, harmony and bliss with a touching freshness" IndieMusic.
With his magnetic voice and his catchy tunes, Agop brings in extra joy and energy to the pop scene. His enthusiastic folk mantras and sweet sunny pop songs sometimes flirt with electro. Occasional armenian instruments (duduk, blul...) hint to his ancestors’ origins. Agop is a football addict - which seems natural since he originates from Marseilles, the French city of football - he happily admits Eric Cantona or Marcelo Bielsa can influence his music, almost as much as The Beatles, Coldplay, Oasis, Dua Lipa, Sam Cooke or Lady Gaga. "Songs of Good Hope", Agop’s first album released on February 2018, was recorded in Paris at Studio CBE (Lee Hazlewood, JP Cooper, Sébastien Tellier, Dita von Teese, Lilly Wood&The Prick, Amadou&Mariam...). This album was highly acclaimed by the French media (famous ELLE magazine, several French tv show,...). "Karma Solaire" is the 2nd album of Agop, the "cool boy" from Marseille. 11 refreshing pop tracks that celebrate love and summer, imagined as a soundtrack for a sunny vacation.
