The Bronx is the birthplace of hip hop and has produced legendary artists from the likes
of KRS-One to latin hip hop pioneer Big Pun, and another of its native sons, Low Enzo
carries the torch proudly keeping the tradition of lyricism developed by the rough
incubator of the New York streets. Raised in a multicultural family that includes Arabic,
African & Latin lineage, Low received an early lesson in cultural diversity coupled with an
appreciation for great music instilled by his MoTown loving mother.
Music would play an important role in Low’s life, as it was his escape from the often
violent and hectic surroundings he traversed through daily. He would eventually discover
that channeling his thoughts into writing his own music was therapeutic. Low’s
charismatic charm coupled with his wordsmithing ability made him a natural influencer
and he became a fixture in the NYC nightlife promotions community. His support from the
party world has given him an advantage over the typical artist, as he understands the
heart and soul of what moves people literally and figuratively. From knowledge of trends
in street culture, to relationships with DJ’s, Low has had his finger on the pulse of the
community that generates stars in a super competitive market in which he’s held his own.
Moving into 2020, Low Enzo has found new inspiration in what he considers a second
chance at life after surviving a horrific car accident. His faith was tested as income,
friends and family support was removed, and much like 50 Cent he turned a traumatic
experience into fuel for soul searching and evolution.
