Quartet from Stavanger, Norway, with Idol winner 2007 Glenn Lyse, Idol winner 2004 Kjartan Salvesen, X Factor finalist 2009 Tommy Fredvang and well known The Voice participant Ole Alexander Mæland.
The unique collaboration Stavangerkameratene emerged in Stavanger in the summer of 2015 when the four were asked to perform together at the opening of the Volleyball World Cup. On the opening show they performed “Vekk meg opp” for the very first time. It was their own Norwegian translation for Avicii’s mega - hit “Wake Me Up”. The response was so good that they wanted to release it, however it took a full seven months to get the version approved by Avicii and the other songwriters.
In summer 2016 they released their second single “Bare så du vett det”, which became a huge hit. The following summer the quartet dropped the self - titled debut album. The album went to the Top 20 on the album chart and “Bare så du vett det” correspondingly on the radio list. The success led to receiving gold and platinum trophies for “Bare så du vettt det” and gold trophy for the album.
Stavangerkameratene has since its inception become a well - known live band and are currently working on new releases.
